Now that we have your attention with that title, it’s important to note that it sure wasn't Kristofer who did it (nor was he who was set free). This quote is from the appointed passage from the book of Job for the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi. Kristofer reflects on these scriptures and invites us to ponder the powerful perspective that God offers us through them. As humans in the midst of an ecological crisis, we have very much lost sight of what it means to not only be part of creation but to also be stewards of it. His video invites us to contemplate the life of Francis and consider how we are being called to change our own lives. May we all be set free from the foolish and destructive patterns that separate us from the love of God and responsibilities we have to the earth and one another.
