“You are Not Alone” with the Rev. Sara Yoe

SSS

St. Francis Spiritual Sustenance on December 13, 2022 ========================================

In today's video, Sara shares thoughts about some of the unique experiences that shape us during tough times --- by exploring their own story of holding feelings that seem to contradict each other, and yet knowing that all of the feelings were true and valid, too. Through Sara’s own experience of feeling relief in the midst of grief surrounding a loved one’s death, Sara prayed for peace at the end of life’s journey.

The holidays can bring up all kinds of emotions and grief. If you find yourself tangled in the busy-ness of holiday get-togethers and traditions and have anxiety about it all because you are grappling with messy, gut-wrenching feelings too, then please know you are NOT alone! Reach out to Sara and we’ll connect you with other folks at St. Francis Episcopal Parish & Community Center who can relate to the elements of your story, such as the loss or death of a loved one.

Or, if you are in immediate need, consult one of these resources today: What's your Grief, a collection of grief resources , the San Francisco Night Ministry Care Line, a warm line to talk between the hours of 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM, (yes, callers from across the world are welcome!); or the National Suicide Hotline, a crisis line for those in acute need - just dial number 988 from any phone!

Sending you warm thoughts and blessings this holiday season.

May you feel known and seen and loved.

In peace, Sara
