Kristofer and the Power of God in our Little Finger

The Power of God in our Little Finger

Today Kristofer offers a reflection on the life and ministry of Anglican Bishop and Missionary to China, Joseph Schereschewsky. When his physical body was paralyzed by a stroke late in his ministry, this beloved child of God found the strength and fortitude to continue on in faithful witness for 25 more years - against great odds. Contemporaries described the painstaking effort that it took him to undertake extensive translation work of the bible into various languages, as he typed with two fingers because he experienced paralysis in all limbs and had limited motion with his hands. It may be difficult to imagine the challenges he overcame to accomplish what he did and give himself completely over to God in loving service, but it is indeed worthy of our consideration. As you ponder the gifts you have been given, as well as the challenges that you have faced, how do you experience God at work in these aspects of your life?
