Jigsaw Pieces

Meet St. Francis Episcopal Parish & Community Center's new Director of Music Ministries -- Bonnie Johnson-Williams!

Bonnie is a multi-instrumentalist from Freetown, Sierra Leone, with certifications in jazz and classical trumpet performance from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in London, England, and a MA in Music Education from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. He has served as church music director, chancel and handbell choir director, instrumentalist (piano, organ, brass, woodwind, guitar and more), youth minister, and a leader in the creative engagement of all people in the worship of God through blending traditional and contemporary music in liturgy. He is deeply faithful and passionate about music that deepens the faith of all people. With these important qualities, Bonnie is well equipped to support the many musical avenues our congregation and community are called to follow and share together.

We won't see Bonnie officially in his new role as Director of Music Ministries until August. However, he has prepared a special introduction for the St. Francis community where he discusses how our jigsaw pieces fit together in God's wondrous puzzle.
