Kristofer and Do Not Worry

SSS

Do Not Worry

In today’s reflection, Kristofer grounds himself beneath a beautiful weeping cherry tree to talk with us. As he challenges us to ponder Jesus’s admonition not to worry, Kristofer invites us to see ourselves as part of the creative cycle of everything around us. Spring is now bursting forth. As you consider the birds, the lilies, and whatever else is coming to life all around you, how does praying in this way remind you of God’s presence among us? Doing so can liberate you - even if momentarily - from needless worry, as Christ focuses us on the abundant life that is given freely to us all. Just for today, can you make time to revel in God’s glory and splendor?
