Paved Highway or Wilderness Road?

As we continue on this pathway together, do you ever notice the “scenery” that we pass by along the way? What do you see? We have indeed come a long way in a short time together, and we still have a long and exciting road ahead of us. While the pandemic has no doubt put challenges across the road we trod, God is guiding us forward.

In today’s SSS video, Kristofer reflects briefly on the conversations we are having about the new Co-Rector leadership roles, and the way in which those discussions converge with the appointed Hebrew Bible lesson for the day. What are you experiencing as we journey along the way of St. Francis? We would like to know. Please feel free to contact Kristofer, Amy, or any of our Vestry or Officers to share your thoughts and feelings and hear from them about what they are encountering.

Isaiah 40:5-8
A voice cries out:
"In the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord,
make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
Every valley shall be lifted up,
and every mountain and hill be made low;
the uneven ground shall become level,
and the rough places a plain.
Then the glory of the Lord shall be revealed,
and all people shall see it together,
for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
