Looking to the Light

As we enter this first week of Advent, Kristofer reflects on the faith and practice that shapes what we believe and how we behave. As Advent begins, so too does the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah. While these traditions have vastly different histories, they both invite us to look to the light in the midst of looming darkness. Kristofer invites us to consider how we are called to deeply engage our own traditions, as well as love our neighbor who might have different beliefs.
