Amy and Thank You

Thank You

"If the only prayer you ever say is Thank You, it will be enough." These words are attributed to the German mystic and theologian Meister Eckhart. I give thanks to God for you all, for the St Francis Episcopal Parish community and Epiphany Community Center, and for the ways in which you and I learn and grow together as disciples of Jesus Christ. In times of uncertainty, I turn to words and practices that have given me strength and comfort throughout my life. That practice today is Morning Prayer in our sanctuary which is open for private prayer and contemplation for all today from 9 - 3. All are welcome. Morning Prayer ends with the prayer of the General Thanksgiving. Pray with me that prayer, in its older language if you haven't heard that before. You can find it here: https://www.bcponline.org/DailyOffice/mp1.html or on pages 58-59 of the Book of Common Prayer.
