Imitating Christ
Today’s reflection from Kristofer focuses on the assigned reading from Philippians 2 with particular attention to Paul’s call for us to “put on the mind of Christ”. Because all things are made in the image and likeness of God, all of creation has within its nature the divine. Because God came to dwell among us in the person of Jesus, all of creation is imbued with the being of Christ. As we live into the challenges of today, into the messiness of life, God is present in every aspect of our existence. What does it look like for us today to turn our minds, bodies, and spirits over to God, and in doing so realize we are more than just imitating Christ?
