Apiary

St. Francis is home to an apiary! Once a year around fall we harvest honey from our apiary and share it with our community! A limited supply of honey made by our humble little bees will be available in the Indoor Choice Pantry (ICP). If you would like to get involved with the apiary as a beekeeper or general helper, then reach out to the Green Team!

Two persons in beekeeping suits handle a honeycomb frame amidst lush green vegetation, engaging in beekeeping activities.
A person in a beekeeping suit examines honeycomb next to a person at a table with a white bucket in a room.
Honey flowing from a metal extractor into a strainer over a bucket, capturing the golden liquid. Nearby, a person’s foot is visible.
