2024 Vacation Bible School: Compassion Camp

St. Francis will be hosting a Vacation Bible School program again this summer! Like last year, we are going to gather on five consecutive Wednesday evenings: July 24, 31, and August 7, 14, and 21. Each gathering will be from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m., and we'll begin in the Community Garden and end with dinner in the Big Room. Registration is open and all children who have completed 5th grade and younger are welcome to sign up to participate! Those not potty trained need to have a parent or guardian stay with them for the duration of the evening. Can't make every week but still want in on the fun? That's great! Sign up today anyways and just let Rev. Sara know which dates you can't make it.

The theme this year is Compassion Camp: What Every Living Thing Needs. We'll be exploring Bible stories that focus on the weekly themes of Shelter, Food, Water, Air, and Community - all things that every living thing needs. We'll do this through music, crafts, science, service projects, and with St. Francis member Lois Berk's childrens' book series, ABC Botany!

We will need many other hands to help make this a fun and safe time for everyone, so keep your eye out for sign up sheets to help with dinner and other activities in the coming weeks.
