The Way [We] Should Go
Train children in the way they should go and when they are old they will not stray from it (Proverbs 22: 6)
How did you learn to be a Christian? How are you learning to be a Christian?
Did you come to the faith through the Bible? Did you come to it through a particular person who in loving and caring for you lived the faith?
Did someone share with you at a critical moment in your life the hope that they knew in Jesus Christ and you were drawn to God through them?
I have learned a lot about the faith from books and I have learned a lot about the faith from people.
Today I reflect on two women who have had a hand in shaping me into the Christian I am today. I hope you spend some time today reflecting on those people who have taught you the faith and those people who are teaching you the faith now.
Praise God for those who go before us and who teach us in the way we should go.
