The Appearance of the Risen Christ

The appointed scripture reading for today from John’s gospel account has us first in a fishing boat with the disciples and then on the beach with the risen Jesus (21:1-14). To read the entire account, click here.

After lovingly directing the disciples in how to more effectively fish, Jesus invites them to bring their bountiful catch and have breakfast with him. As we start this new day together, I wonder where Christ might appear in your life today and in the weeks to come. I wonder how God is feeding you in this time that we are all so hungry for connection and community. Bring your breakfast along and come chat with Kristofer during this morning’s virtual coffee hour.
