Prayer & Pastoral Care

As a faith community we are called to pray for and with one another and as an Episcopal parish, we are called to pray for - in the words of the Book of Common Prayer on page 363 (see the red book in the pews) - "the Universal Church, its members, and its mission; the Nation and all in authority; the welfare of the world; the concerns of the local community; those who suffer and those in any trouble; the departed (with commemoration of a saint when appropriate)."

All are invited to incorporate prayer requests into daily and weekly prayers. If you are requesting prayers for yourself or others, please visit stfrancismd.org to communicate those needs, make changes to prior prayer requests, or to request a pastoral visit.

If you would like your birthday or anniversary included in these prayer lists, please update your profile on TouchPoint to include those dates or use the prayer request form found under the “Contact Us” tab on our website. Questions? Reach out to Amy.

NEW! March 2023: Jim Stultz recently accepted the calling to co-chair the Pastoral Care Team with Rev. Amy. Jim is a longtime member of the St. Francis community (most recently as a member of St. Thomas in 2008 who worked with Epiphany on the merger to become St. Francis). As this program evolves, Jim and Amy are happy to meet with anyone who wants to be part of the team. More details will come as the program evolves. In the meantime, please reach out if you have any questions or know of someone in need of a visit or phone call. Contact Jim
